Florida Atlantic University was selected to host the next conference and increased participation in every facet!
Owls for Israel along with Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach County at Florida Atlantic University were chosen to host the 3rd annual FLI conference. The conference began on March 28th, 2014 and lasted until March 30th, 2014. The goal of the FLI FAU program was to build on the success of the previous two conferences by further expanding the national network of pro-Israel activists on US college campus. FAU took these goals to the next level with a the unique conference theme called “I am FLI.”
The conference hosted 145 students from 18 major universities across the country with an even more diverse array of co-sponsoring organizations.

FAU’s vision of FLI led to many diverse workshops and even incorporated a new approach by letting student leaders present breakout sessions on topics of their choice. Speakers came from across the world to attend the FLI FAU conference. The 3 day FLI FAU conference included a full Friday night Shabbat dinner, 24 breakout sessions led by both students and professionals, 5 keynote speakers, Saturday night party, and a Student Leadership panel.
